Clapsticks, known as 'Milbarra wadhi in the Wiradyuri language, are a rhythm instrument used by the Wailwaan, Yuin, Wiradyuri, Gamilaraay and many other Aboriginal nations
These clapsticks are made from timber sourced sustainably from country, using dead trees or branches. There are many variations in this naturally sourced timber and the ornamentation on the instruments.
