Incredibly rare fossilised samples of both Ortholopus pulchellus and Celleporaria gambierensis (Sea Urchin and Bryozoan). The specimen is from the Middle Miocene (11-15 million years ago). During this period, a sharp drop in global temperatures occurred across the planet.
This specimen was found near the town of Waikerie, South Australia - some 150km inland from the Southern Ocean.
