Sun Azurite on Kaolinite - Mineral Specimen

$38.00
This product is sold out

Sun Azurite forms between layers of a clay mineral called kaolinite. The azurite is formed by hdrothermal fluids which carry copper ions passing through bedding plans in the rock formation. These Australian specimens were collected in the Northern Territory, directly west of Alice Springs.

The Australian Museum Shop sources all the fossils, minerals and gemstones that we sell from reputable Australian wholesalers, whose local and international supply chains are the most sustainable and ethically credible in the world.
