Ferdinand s Frag - Black Knight
A graceful curve in delicious glossy midnight black, forms a perfect fruit or salad bowl
This lovely deep gloss black on brown curve base designer bowl is handmade in Queensland from the recycled shells of macadamia nuts, by Husque. Perfect for that friend who loves to entertain and enjoys beautifully crafted and sustainable homewares.
The process of repurposing the macadamia husks creates homewares that are beautiful, lightweight, sturdy and resilient.
Ferdinand Von Mueller was the German geographer and botanist who is officially recognised as the first European to identify and name the macadamia. He named it after his friend Dr John Macadams. He found the species during an expedition to Pine Rivers, north of Brisbane in 1856.
