Curious about the Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis)?

This small omnivorous bird is native to Australia, New Zealand and some south west Pacific islands. In Australia, its habitat ranges from Tasmania to Cape York

It's name comes from the ring of white feathers around its eye. It has olive-green wings and either a grey or olive-green back, a lighter coloured, yellow or grey throat, chestnut toned flanks and a white or yellow undertail.
