Birds of Prey of Australia is the definitive illustrated book on Australian raptors, written and photographed by naturalist David Hollands. This 444-page hardcover gives each of the 25 Australian birds of prey its own chapter, from the wedge-tailed eagle to the nankeen kestrel, the Australian hobby, the harriers, goshawks, kites and the osprey. Hollands first wrote about these birds in Eagles Hawks and Falcons of Australia in 1984, and this book is the culmination of that lifetime of fieldwork. He studied and photographed every species himself and was awarded an OAM in 2015 for services to rural medicine and ornithology.
