How it works: Responding to touch, the globe is a glass sphere for with 3 gases: neon, argon and xenon. When the high frequency alternating current electrode at the centre of the globe discharges, the gases are excited, creating colourful gas filaments. Touching the glass creates an attraction spot, making a brighter, thinner tendril of plasma, as though you're controlling electricity.
The result is a captivating display of glowing, dancing tendrils of plasma that move in response to your touch.
