FrogID
Wear your FrogID devotion with pride with our t-shirts, caps and accessories.
FrogID is an Australian Museum citizen science project aimed at collecting audio of frog calls across the nation to monitor frog populations and help save Australia’s threatened frog species.
Using mobile phone technology and “audio DNA” FrogID aims to discover where frogs are at risk, how to conserve them and how to help our waterways.
Australia is home to more than 240 known frog species, almost all of which are uniquely at home here, and nowhere else. While some species are flourishing, others have declined in numbers dramatically since the 1980s. Sadly, at least four have become extinct.
With the help of citizen scientists across Australia, just like you, we're discovering Frog friends, one call at a time
