Hunan Province Fluorite specimen

$680.00

A large and exquisite Fluorite Specimen, with a pleasing organic form and jade tones, excavated from the renowned Taolin Mine in Hunan Province, China.

This detailed, organic-shaped jade green specimen is reminiscent of a cloud formation. Green colouration in fluorite is typically caused by the presence of trace elements in its crystal lattice structure. In the case of green fluorite, the colour is often attributed to the presence of iron or rare earth elements, such as yttrium or cerium.
