The rich colour is created through heat treating amethyst crystals. This process changes the violet tones into a rich range of yellows and golds, from a lightly toasted amber, through to a golden rust.
Each cluster is unique, and all display the pointed crystal cones typical of quartz clustering. With around 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, they have good hardness, and handling it with proper care will prevent any damage.
Excellent starter specimens for any collector and the perfect gift for any interested geologist starting on their collection journey.
