Mabu Mabu was founded by Nornie Bero, a seasoned chef with over 25 years of experience. A proud Torres Strait Islander from the Komet Tribe of the Meriam people, Nornie launched Mabu Mabu in 2018 with a mission to bring native Australian ingredients to the forefront of everyday cooking. Her passion for Indigenous flavours and commitment to cultural storytelling through food continue to shape the brand’s unique identity.
