The Deadly Science series presents a mix of western and first nations Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics [STEM] knowledge in informative, excitingly illustrated science texts
Wild Weather, (Book 2 in the series) steps primary-aged learners through:
- Australian seasons

- Plate tectonics, earthquakes and tsunamis
It also looks at a volcano case study hand undertaken by the students of the Jiklminggan School
The Deadly Science series aims to inspire the next generation of Deadly Scientists one book at a time.
Understanding that regional and remote schools were critically underfunded, particularly in STEM resources, proud Kamilaroi educator, Corey Tutt, worked 2 jobs to purchase and send resources to some of these schools. In 2018 Corey founded DeadlyScience, a not-for-profit organisation to provide STEM resources and learning experiences to regional and remote schools in Australia and connect young Indigenous people with STEM professionals.
Since then DeadlyScience has grown to be Australia’s leading Indigenous STEM charity working with over 800 schools and community organisations across all states and territories.
