Koalas - Capturing Nature Print

$145.00
Minus Plus

Koala, Phascolarctos cinereus. This koala mother and baby were on display in a case in the Museum's 'Australian Hall'. This is the description from the 1890 guidebook: 'The Koala or Native Bear. These are quiet, peaceful animals; their fur is very thick and soft, generally grey in colour. Their favourite food is the leaves of the Eucalypti, though they eat some kinds of roots and in confinement will live a short time on bread and vegetables. The young is carried on the mothers back till it is able to climb alone'. Photographer: Henry Barnes.

The Australian Museum Shop is proud to be offering a range of prints featured in the Australian Museum's touring exhibition Capturing Nature. For more information on the Capturing Nature exhibition, please click here.

High quality archival image presented on 330gsm cotton rag paper ready to frame. Available in 3 sizes.

Due to the irregular aspect ratio of this photograph, please note that the image will be scaled in the most appropriate manner to the paper size selected.
