A striking Ammonite mammites specimen, 15cm x 12cm, x 4 cm with a range of colouring and beautifully expressed whorl and prominent ribs.

Fossils of species within this genus have been found in the Late Cretaceous formations of Angola, Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Madagascar, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Romania, Tunisia, United States and Venezuela.

This specimen was found in Morocco
