Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans in a small studio in India. Because they are beaded by hand, slight variation in embroidery, size, shape and colour may appear between pieces. This is the mark of Made by Hand, and it means your brooch is one of a kind.

These brooches echo a passion the Australian Museum has held since 1827. The Museum cares for one of the largest bird collections in the Southern Hemisphere, over 100,000 specimens representing around 75 percent of all living bird species.
