Camarasaurus Dinosaur Bone Fossil | Authentic Jurassic Sauropod Specimen
A genuine Camarasaurus dinosaur bone, this is a fragment of one of the long necked, plant eating sauropods that roamed the Late Jurassic, around 146 million years ago. The specimen was recovered from the renowned Morrison Formation of Utah in the United States.
Its name means chambered lizard, after the hollow air spaces in its neck bones that kept an enormous skeleton both light and strong, much like the bones of living birds.
