Chrysocolla - Mineral Specimen
Chrysocolla, found in the Russian region of Bashkortostan.
This almost iridescent auqa blue vitreous, waxy mineral was first used in ancient Grecian times in soldering metals, a function which has now been fulfilled by borax.
