Gear up for frogging
FrogID is the Australian Museum's national citizen science project and the largest citizen science project in the world dedicated to frogs. Since it launched in 2017, more than 45,000 people across Australia have used the free FrogID app to record frog calls. They have contributed more than a million validated records, and each call is identified by a species expert at the Museum. These records help scientists understand where Australia's frogs are thriving and where they need help.
This official FrogID range lets you show your support while you're out listening for frogs. It's an easy way to spot other frog lovers on the creek bank, at the pond or in the classroom.
Choose your style
FrogID Cap A navy blue cap with the FrogID logo on the front and the Australian Museum logo on the back. It's made from 100% cotton, with embroidered ventilation holes, a reinforced peak and an adjustable strap with a metal fastening.
FrogID Water Bottle A lightweight, leakproof steel bottle with a wood-detail lid and a hanging hook that clips to your pack for evening frog walks. It stands 25 cm tall with the lid on and is 6 cm wide.
FrogID Calico Tote Bag A calico tote printed with the cheerful FrogID logo and the Australian Museum logo. It measures 40 cm x 37 cm and has 25 cm straps. It has room for a torch, a field guide and all of your shopping.
Join FrogID
Download the free FrogID app, record the frogs calling near you and submit your recording. The Museum's frog experts will identify the species and add your record to the national dataset.
